With the arrival of the Levante UD defender, Brazil was able to start ball training at the Georgia Sports Park. In her second call-up to the Senior National Team, forward Jheniffer shared her impressions of the first training session of this call-up.

“The training was very intense. Some girls who are arriving now are still understanding the game idea. The exchange between the more experienced players and the younger ones is proving to be very important. It was a very productive training, and I hope to continue growing alongside all of them,” commented Jheniffer.

On the other hand, Ana Vitória will have her first experience following the coach’s playing style in a competition. The midfielder expressed her excitement to start the preparations for the match against Canada.

“I have already played wearing the ‘Amarelinha’ jersey, but it’s a new work, and I haven’t had the opportunity to play with this coaching staff yet. I am curious to see how it will be when we step onto the field together. Nowadays, all the national teams are very strong, well-prepared, and I think our opponents in this competition are references, just like us, obviously. In addition to being an interesting tournament for the group, it will be very interesting for the athlete to carry out this self-assessment,” she stated.
