The Dorival Júnior era is already underway. The Brazilian national team played the first two games under its new coach, who managed to finish the March FIFA window unbeaten. After securing a 1-0 victory against England at Wembley, the Canarinha snatched a dramatic draw against Spain at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Needless to say, it’s a positive outcome for the new manager, who sees the 2024 Copa America on the horizon. But before that challenge, there will be two more tests for Dorival: Brazil will return to action on June 8, when they face Mexico in an international friendly in Texas.

Four days later, the five-time world champions will face the United States in Orlando, in another exhibition match before the continental tournament, which will take place on American soil from June 20 to July 14.

The Verdeamarela will be in Group D alongside Costa Rica (earning their spot in this same international break by defeating Honduras), Paraguay, and Colombia.

Their debut in the competition will be on June 24 at 10 p.m. (Brasilia time) at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Four days later, they will clash with Paraguay at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, while Colombia will be their opponent in the group stage finale on July 2 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
