Nike has been dressing the Brazilian national team for decades, but that could change soon. According to Kicker, the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) would launch a tender to listen to offers from other kit suppliers.
Brazil was the first high-profile national soccer team to trust the American brand, which has been producing its uniforms since 1997 and is under contract to continue doing so until the end of 2026.

Brazil could seek more money from Nike
However, the report from the German outlet suggests that the agreement generates an income of $35.5 million per year for the Verdeamarela, something that the federation has been wanting to renegotiate for some time now.
It was recently announced that Germany will end its partnership with Adidas after more than 70 years to begin a new era with Nike, who would pay three times what it currently pays by year to the Seleção.

This amount of money could limit Nike’s budget to renew with Brazil and France (who are also expected to open a tender to see what the market can offer), while opening the doors for Adidas or Puma to meet the expectations of its current clients.
Brazil and Nike have looked like one for a long time, so it would be strange to see the iconic yellow jersey with another logo. But that’s how commercial deals work.
