Reports in Spain have yet again linked Liverpool linchpin Philippe Coutinho to a move to Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The Brazilian has been drawing attention from world football since taking on the mantle as Liverpool’s talisman since the departure of Steven Gerrard in the summer.
However it is both in Madrid and Catalonia where the rumours have intensified with both Los Blancos and Barcelona being firm admirers.
Nonetheless the hierachy at Liverpool have categorically ruled out selling their diminutive Brazilian any time soon despite anticipating a wave of bids coming in in the close season.
Coutinho has become Liverpool’s go to guy this season has stepped up when it’s mattered most, especially in the sides best results this season beating both Chelsea and Manchester City away from home.
For now, Coutinho is said to be enjoying life on Merseyside but come the summer the lure of Spain and in particular a move to Barcelona or Real may be too tempting.
