Grêmio goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe has been added into the Brazil squad for the friendlies against Argentina and Japan later this month.
The 27 year-old is coming in to provide cover for Botafogo stopper Jefferson, who has a knock, and will compete with Rafael Cabral for playing time.
Grohe is currently on a run of eight consecutive clean sheets and has gone 743 minutes without conceding a goal.
The Campo Bom native has never been capped by the Seleção at full international level, but he did make two appearances for an under-18 side back in 2005.
