Playmaker Kaká has been added into the Brazil squad for the friendlies against Argentina and Japan later this month.

For the 32 year-old, who is on loan at São Paulo from incoming Major League Soccer franchise Orlando City, this is a first call up in over 18 months.

Kaká has been selected by Head Coach Dunga as a replacement for Cruzeiro’s Ricardo Goulart, who is injured.

The 2002 World Cup winner has been revitalised since returning to São Paulo and has managed one goal and one assist in 12 appearances.

Kaká will be competing with the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Oscar and Willian for playing time and will hope to impress sufficiently to retain his place and remain in Dunga’s plans for next year’s Copa América.
