Chelsea captain John Terry has hailed the adaption of striker Diego Costa and believes the 25-year-old is a key player already.
The Brazilian-born Spanish international has scored eight goals since moving to west London from Atletico Madrid in the summer and been a revelation in the Premier League.
And Terry praised the forward when speaking to the official club website, he said: "With Diego, strikers can take months and months [to adapt].
"But he’s scored eight goals already, which is superb, that’s great for us."
The former England captain revealed Costa is yet to speak a word of English but has already made it clear what he wants to achieve with Chelsea this season.
Terry added: "He’s a great character, without speaking a word of English he gets by and gets on great with everyone.
"He’s come to the Premier League to win, he made that clear in pre-season."
