Brazilian Anderson Talisca keeps on flying. He scored the first goal of Al Nassr’s 2-1 victory against Al Tai in the Saudi Pro League. This is the sixth win in a row for the club now commanded by former Botafogo coach Luís Castro. Cristiano Ronaldo scored via penalty shootout and sealed the deal.

The duo has been combining for great plays. It was in one of these that CR7 found the Brazilian, who shot the ball with power to surpass goalkeeper Victor Braga. Misidjan equalized for Al Tai, but Cristiano Ronaldo left his mark at 36 minutes of the second half and prompted Al Nassr to the victory.

The team is now on 3rd place of the tournament, one point behind Al Ittihad and Al Taawoun.

Talisca not called up for the Brazilian National Team

Anderson Talisca found himself absent from the recent unveiling of Brazil’s national squad set to participate in the World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Venezuela and Uruguay.

It’s intriguing to note that despite his club exploits, Talisca has yet to receive a call-up to Brazil’s senior squad in recent years. In response this, Talisca took to Instagram to convey his sentiments.

“I’m starting to think I’m not Brazilian”, he wrote.
