Palmeiras will decide the title of the Campeonato Paulista on Sunday (7) against Santos, at 6 PM (Brasília time), at the Allianz Parque. In the first leg, Santos triumphed 1-0 at Vila Belmiro.

Forward Endrick projected the big decision of the state tournament. The player emphasized the strength of the Palmeiras fans to overturn the disadvantage, as the Allianz Parque is expected to be packed. More than 35 thousand tickets have already been sold, according to the latest partial released by the green and white club.

“When it’s a final, everyone wants to play much more, with our fans, at the Allianz Parque. We know it can be crowded, with over 40 thousand people,” said Endrick.

“We expect a lot from our fans because they are our 12th player and we need them a lot. We will give our best on the field, because that’s what we do for Palmeiras,” he continued.

The Palmeiras forward praised the rival in the final, but showed optimism in winning another title for the green and white team.

“We know that Santos is a good team, they have been having a good championship. But of course, everyone wants to win. I believe it will be a very good match, a very difficult match, just like the first one,” he predicted.

“We lost the first game at their home and now it’s at the Allianz Parque, in our home. I hope it will be a good game and that our team can do well to win,” he continued.

In the last Wednesday’s match against San Lorenzo in the Copa Libertadores, coach Abel Ferreira rested several players with an eye on the final against Santos. Endrick was one of the preserved players.

“We all prepared well, those who went for the Libertadores match and those who stayed here. We are a team, and those who went there played well. We managed to secure a draw and those who stayed also worked to help Palmeiras in the final,” he stated.

“We are preparing to play a good game and to be able to be crowned champions,” Endrick concluded.
