Brazilian National Team faces Nigeria in Olympic debut

On Tuesday (9), the Brazilian national team learned their opening opponent for the 2024 Paris Olympics. In the Africa Pre-Olympic, Nigeria defeated South Africa 1-0 on aggregate, securing the last spot in Group C.

The match between Brazil and Nigeria for the teams’ Olympic debut will take place on July 25th in Bordeaux. Following that, the team led by Arthur Elias will face Japan on the 28th in Paris. Wrapping up the group stage on July 31st, the Brazilian national team returns to Bordeaux to play against Spain.

In addition to the teams in Group C, the Olympics will also feature France, Colombia, Canada, and New Zealand in Group A. Meanwhile, Group B will consist of the United States, Germany, Australia, and Zambia or Morocco, who will conclude the Africa Pre-Olympic. In the first leg, the Moroccan team won 2-1.
