15-year-old striker Victor Moura, who was on trial with English side Manchester City, should sign his first professional contract in January.
In October, Victor Moura, who’s known as Vitinho, had trained for ten days in England, and also played in a game. The Brazilian club’s youth department will have a big challenge early next year to negotiate the first professional contract of striker Victor Moura, who turns 16 on January 4, when the amateur bond with Corinthians ends. As reported by Globo Esporte, in agreement with Manchester City, the bond signed should include a purchase preference for the English side for 2018, when he turns 18. Victor Moura, who’s treated like a jewel within the club, was part of Brazil’s squad that won the U15 South American Championship this month in Colombia, and was also the tournament top scorer with seven goals. Manchester City had taken the boy on a ten day trial in October this year and he shone during the period. After nine days of training with the club’s youths, his experience ended with a match against Newcastle United, where he overcame the low temperature and even scored a goal in the 5-1 victory.
