Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva is adament his team are ready for the challenge of Chelsea and particularly Diego Costa.
Silva will be in direct competition with Costa on Tuesday as both sides lock horns in the Champions League last sixteen. Silva praised Costa but also displayed his confidence.
“Diego Costa is very good, he defends well, he attacks very well, he scores goals. But that is no problem, that is the reason you want to play at this level, to do battle against the best players in the world.”
Silva also gave Costa a slight dig over his decision to play for Spain instead of Brazil at international level.
“I am not sure that I could choose to play for a nation other than the one I grew up in, but neither myself or anybody else has any right to judge his decision.”
The games kicks off at 19.45pm GMT time on Tuesday night.
