Defender Jerome Boateng has admitted he is avoiding contact with brother Kevin-Prince ahead of Germany’s clash with Ghana.
The duo are expected to face off against each other on Saturday and Jerome believes he can focus better if he’s not talking to his sibling in the build to a potentially decisive encounter.
“It is a bit strange but I’m not missing our regular contact,” he said, as reported by FIFA.com. ”The World Cup is a special situation and I think it just wouldn’t be right if we remained in touch with each other. I am with Germany and my full focus is on my tasks here.”
