Fiorentina head coach Vincenzo Montella has admitted he is unsure whether Manchester United midfielder Anderson will be signed.
Sporting director Daniele Pradè has confirmed he is in negotiations to sign the 25 year-old, but Montella, who also wants a new striker, remains unconvinced.
“It is evident we have been unlucky with [Giuseppe] Rossi’s injury, as there aren"t many great strikers on the market," he said, as reported by Sky Sports. "Who is the perfect forward for our style of football? The one who guarantees goals.
“The ideas of the club on the market are very clear, we were unlucky with the attackers but we planned purchases in other roles. Anderson is a strong player but I don"t know if he will come."
