Júlio César"s agent Josias Cardoso has confirmed that the former Flamengo goalkeeper is on the verge of joining Napoli.
Queens Park Rangers have already accepted that he would not stay at the club following their relegation to the English Championship.
His agent Josias Cardoso talked with calciomercato.it about the negotiations, he said: “It"s not all done yet, there is a good chance [he joins Napoli] but there are some details to be resolved between the player and Napoli.
“When will the signature arrive? I don"t know, it could be today, or in a few days."
Josias Cardoso also commented about interest from Spain, he said: “The Villarreal interest? There has been some interest from Spain, but nothing concrete.
“The only two concrete tracks are Arsenal and Napoli."
Júlio César is expected to join Napoli on a loan deal with an option to buy. The Italian club have also already signed Santos" goalkeeper Rafael.
