Paulinho has dismissed reports linking him with a move away from Corinthians and claims there is no truth in claims he wants to leave the club.
The dynamic midfielder rescued Corinthians with a second-half strike in the 1-1 draw against Botafogo at the weekend.
After the match, Paulinho told reporters that he would stay at Corinthians for the forseeable future after fans appealed for the Brazilian to stay.
“No, quite the contrary,” Paulinho said when asked if he would be leaving Corinthians this summer. The midfielder went on to claim that Corinthians have earned a vital point.
“It was important to get this point, we got a point and we have a lot more to come. Of course the goal is to get the three points, especially at home but we made mistakes.
“At least we did not lose, there was a stumble but we could have come out with all three points.”
