Botafogo midfielder Jadson has said he does not plan to leave Botafogo in the near future, despite the club receiving a €2.5 million offer from Udinese for his services.

Jadson, 19, has already made 42 appearances for the Alvinegro despite only being promoted to the first-team in 2012, but insists he will not move on until the club begins winning trophies.

While he told reporters that he is yet to personally receive any proposal, it has been widely reported that Botafogo are set to accept the offer from the Serie A side. Jadson, though, believes it is not the right time to move on.

“I have still not received any proposal, I know nothing,” he told Lancenet. “I am not close to leaving Botafogo at the moment. I only want to leave here winning titles. Now is not the time to leave.”

The young defensive midfielder has quickly established himself as one of the highest rated midfield talents in Brazil and was a member of the Brazil Under-20 squad which participated in the South American Championship this January.
