Ronaldinho"s brother and agent, Roberto Assis, does not see any difficulty in the former Barcelona star signing a new deal with current club Atlético Mineiro, but, with interest from Santos and Fluminense, Assis told Globo Esporte that they will wait a few days before deciding on the player"s future.

He said: “We already anticipated that [Interest from other clubs]. But we will wait a few more days. I do not think it will be difficult, no.

“He is very happy here. It was a marriage that worked. It has everything to remain so. But now it is important to focus on these final matches and for him to do what he likes most."

Ronaldinho, 32, has enjoyed an excellent first season in Belo Horizonte since moving from Flamengo, but the future of the player at Atlético Mineiro will probably come down to the president Alexandre Kalil. It is believed he is willing to pay the 3-times World Player of the Year R$1million per month, plus performance related incentives.
