Speaking after the conference which was attended by representatives of all 27 state federations in Brazil on Wednesday, Lopes revealed that Teixeira received ‘unanimous’ support to continue his role as the head of the governing body.
Teixeira, who is also the president of Brazil’s 2014 World Cup Local Organising Committee and a member of FIFA’s Executive Committee, will be the leader of the CBF until 2015.
