Paulinho has been one of the highlights of Corinthians 2011 season and now the Alvinegro have openly admitted they plan on making an offer to the twenty three year olds investors so they can own 100% of the players economic rights.
In an interview with TV Bandeirantes, Corinthians president, Andres Sanchez revealed the club were already putting together an offer and have had no bids come in for the midfielder, despite being strongly linked with Italian giants, AC Milan and Roma.
”We have received lots of enquiries, but so far we haven’t received an official offer, but it’s surely going to come,” said Sanchez. ”Paulinho doesn’t want to leave. We’ll buy out the percentage that belongs to the partners, and he will 100% belong to Corinthians.”
The Timao currently only own 10% of the players economic rights, with 45% belonging to Brazilian bank, BMG and the other 45% belonging to Grupo Pao de Acucar.
Pauliho’s contract does include a clause that gives Corinthians priority to cover any offer for the player.
