Jobson started the 2011 season in fine form on loan at Bahia before the disciplinary issues arose once more and the North-Eastern club decided to terminate the deal.

Since then, Jobson’s suspension for drug-use was upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sport and he will be allowed to resume his career halfway through the 2012 State Championships.

Jobson battled addiction to crack cocaine and even admitted selling his cell-phone to fund his habit, but since the birth of his son has stayed away from drugs and is determined to rectify his once promising career.

“I have done everything Botafogo asked and I am willing to do whatever Botafogo want,” said the 23-year old striker.

“On the topic of drugs, I have been to all the recommended physicians, and been for councilling. I realize that may be my last chance.”
