Manchester United will play against New York Cosmos to celebrate Scholes retirement.

Cosmos is a club with no players and no stadium, and it hasn’t played a game in 25 years. Former vice-chairman of Tottenham, Paul Kemsley, recently bought the brand and is now trying to bring the club back on the map.

Kemsley first managerial decision was to appoint the legendary Pele as Cosmos’ honorary president, and the once Red Devil Eric Cantona as the soccer director.

Their first game will be at Old Trafford, on the 5th of August.
