Brasileirão Serie A is well-known for its quick coaching turnovers, driven by intense media scrutiny and fan demands. The league has seen numerous early coach dismissals, such as Dorival Júnior’s sudden departure from Flamengo in 2018, Zé Ricardo’s exit from Vasco da Gama in 2017, and Paulo Autuori’s brief tenure at Athletico Paranaense in 2020.

The latest example of this is the sacking of Nicolás Larcamón at Cruzeiro, less than four months after he was announced as coach and after losing to Atlético Mineiro in the Minas Gerais state tournament final.
