Felipe Anderson signs for free at Juventus

The Brazilian attacking midfielder freely signs with the Turin club.

The rumor has been building for several weeks and it is now a done deal, Juventus Turin has formalized the arrival of Brazilian attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson. Free from any contract since the end of his lease at Lazio Rome, the 30-year-old signed up for free with the Piedmontese club.

Felipe Anderson had been playing at Lazio since 2015 and he had become an essential element of the system put in place by Maurizio Sarri. Despite his 3 goals and 6 assists in 31 Serie A matches this season, his management decided not to extend his contract which expires next June.

The Brazilian was therefore free to negotiate his arrival at a new club. Several European teams had positioned themselves including AS Roma or West Ham in England, but it was indeed Juventus who managed to convince the 30-year-old.

According to information from journalists Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, Felipe Anderson has given his verbal agreement to the Bianconeri in recent days. The Turin club then made a written offer to the attacking midfielder who should soon initial it. No transfer compensation is therefore to be paid for the Old Lady who achieves a great deal.
