The Brazilian Serie B draws nearer: How did the teams fare in the state championships?

The Brazilian Serie B Championship will get underway on Friday (19), with 20 teams aiming to finish in the top four to get promoted to the 2025 Brasileirão. All the second division clubs have already concluded their participation in the state tournaments, with four champions and one relegated team.

CRB, Ceará, Sport Recife, and Paysandu won the title in their respective regions, while Ituano were relegated in São Paulo. Brusque, Santos, Vila Nova, and Amazonas, on the other hand, enter this tournament as state runners-up.
