Lucas Moura speaks out after another confirmed injury at São Paulo

Lucas Moura has suffered another injury confirmed at São Paulo. The athlete felt the issue in the match last Thursday (4) against Talleres in Argentina, for the debut in the Copa Libertadores de América.

On Saturday (6), the tricolor club reported that Lucas Moura has a muscular injury in the posterior region of his left thigh. The attacking midfielder has already started the recovery process and spoke about the injury in a post made on social media.

“Unfortunately, these are things that are part of football. But I don’t have time to lament, it’s another obstacle that I will overcome with God in charge. I have already started treatment and will do everything possible to recover in the best way,” wrote Lucas Moura on Instagram.

“I will continue to support and help our tricolor from the outside, but with the certainty that I will be back soon. Injured, but not defeated! Let’s go! Thank you for all the support,” concluded the player.

São Paulo also confirmed the injuries of two more players. Wellington Rato has a syndesmosis injury in his left ankle, while Rafinha has a fracture in his left fibula.

The three players will be absent from São Paulo in the match on Wednesday (10) against Cobresal at Morumbis, for the second round of the group stage of the Copa Libertadores. In the debut, the team led by coach Thiago Carpini lost away from home to Talleres by 2-1.
