In the old continent, two Brazilian under-23 footballers have had two outstanding seasons in two of the most powerful and prestigious leagues in the world. We are talking, of course, about Sávio Moreira ‘Savinho’ and João Pedro, offensive leaders of Girona and Brighton & Hove Albion, respectively.

This great season in the elite has not only allowed them to enter the radar of some of the world’s biggest clubs, but also to be on par with some of the most exciting talents in the football world in terms of value, as can be seen in the latest report from the prestigious CIES Football Observatory.

Sávio Moreira, the most revalued Brazilian under-23 player in the last six months

In this recent study conducted by the Swiss body, which ranks the most revalued under-23 footballers in recent months (from the start of the current season to the present), three Brazilian footballers manage to enter the TOP-10 of the list: Savinho, Endrick, and João Pedro.

Before going into detail, it is important to know that, unlike the estimated market value from websites like Transfermarkt, the transfer value from the CIES Football Observatory would be a possible valuation for a potential transfer if it were to happen right now. That is, what their club could ask for if the player were to be put up for sale right now.

For example: Endrick’s market value according to Transfermarkt is around 55 million euros. If Real Madrid were to consider selling Endrick right now, they would not sell him for that amount, especially considering he was bought for 45 million plus variables.

Therefore, the transfer value of 90 million euros assigned by the CIES would be a more accurate figure for Real Madrid’s potential demands.

Based on this, thanks to their good season and the performance shown, the three highlighted Brazilians have significantly increased their transfer values, being three of the top ten most revalued under-23 footballers in the world.
