Young left-back Rogério has been negotiated by Internacional and he will join Italian giants Juventus.
The transfer is yet to be made official by Inter, but it should happen in the coming days. Transaction values were not disclosed. Rogério, who hasn’t even trained with the professionals at Internacional, represented his country in the U17 World Cup last year, held in Chile. The Brazilians were eliminated by Nigeria in the quarterfinals of the competition, but the performances of the teenager caught the attention of Juventus officials, who opened negotiations with Inter. Both Artur and Géferson are ahead of Rogério in the team’s pecking order, and he would’ve decided to leave following the lack of opportunities with the senior side. According to Globo Esporte, the player travels to Italy on Thursday to undergo medical tests and sign the contract, but will initially be loaned out to Sassuolo.
