Brazil remain sixth in the FIFA world rankings despite disastrous Copa America

FIFA has announced its updated world national team rankings for July. Despite being eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Copa America by Paraguay, Brazil remain in sixth place. The competition’s finalists, Argentina moved up two places to first ahead of Germany (2) and Belgium (3). Their defeated Copa America quarterfinal opponents Colombia were 4th, with the Netherlands in 5th. Portugal were seventh while France moved down 13 places and now occupy 22nd place!
