Jussiê will finally take to the field during pre-season almost a year since he last played football.
The 31 year old has experienced a nightmare year after a serious knee strain has kept him on the sidelines. Jussiê missed the whole of last season but confirmed he is 100% fit for the upcoming campaign.
“After an injury like that, normally, I would return after 6 or 7 months,” Jussiê explained. “But I’ve had other glitches that have been added and it’s been a year since I last played. I could have come back to the end of the season, I really wanted to, but the medical staff told me. ‘Listen, it is useless to resume now. We will prepare your body for next season to start normally.’ I have to thank all the medical staff for their support.”
