The success of the much heralded introduction campaign to reduce violence at derby matchs in Porto Alegre seems set to continue this Sunday after tickets for the neutral section section at Inter’s Beira-Rio stadium sold out.
Two thousand spaces have been sold as a mixed section for supporters of both clubs as part of the continuing campaign to reduce violence and aim for a less volatile atmosphere at game’s between the rivals.
This derby has added importance, being the second-leg of the final of the Rio Grande do Sul state championship, with the first-leg having ended in a 0-0 draw last weekend.
