Chelsea striker Diego Costa is determined to shake off his hamstring injury before the end of the season and is aiming to return in time for the club’s match against Arsenal.

The Brazilian born forward is nursing yet another hamstring injury and there is talk that he could be out until next season. But the forward and the Chelsea medical team are confident that the recovery time will be quicker.

Costa tried to return to action against Stoke on Saturday but only lasted 12 minutes before hobbling off. He has had previous experience of rushing back too soon and many think his aim of returning by April 26th is unlikely.

Arsenal have emerged as Chelsea’s closest rivals for the title but are still seven points behind their London neighbours.
