Orlando City SC manager Adrian Heath believes his players are beginning to understand how to get the best out of Kaká.

The 32 year-old, who was signed from Milan on a free transfer in July 2014, has been training and partaking in pre-season matches, alongside his new team-mates, ahead of their maiden Major League Soccer campaign, which begins later this month.

For Heath, Kaká is likely to be a key creative outlet in his side and the tactician believes that the other members of the Orlando squad now know what he is capable of.

"The key thing is that we have started to trust Ricky [Kaká] a lot more," he said, as reported by The Guardian.

"You know something can happen. You think he is going to lose the ball and, all of a sudden, he is off and away on the other side, and we have to realise the openings it creates around him because he is so good at running with the ball.

"He attracts players to him and we have to work off that and use it as a weapon going forward. We have to make sure we can make use of all those openings."

After signing with Orlando, Kaká was initially loaned to São Paulo. He scored three goals in 24 appearances for them, before moving on to the United States in December 2014.

At Orlando, he will play alongside Brazilian midfielder Pedro Ribeiro, as well as fellow Designated Player Bryan Róchez.
