The Brazilian ‘magician’ is reportedly on the verge of extending his contract at Liverpool.
As mentioned in British paper Mirror, Coutinho has agreed in principle a deal to keep him at Anfield until 2020. The paperwork should be concluded by the end of this week. Getting his future sorted out represents a significant boost for manager Brendan Rodgers. The club have been keen to reward the 22-year-old playmaker for the impact he has made since his £8.5 million move from Inter Milan two years ago. It is also believed that Coutinho’s weekly salary of £35,000 will be doubled, a reward for his outstanding display in England.
