Cruizeiro look set to sign Chilean Felipe Seymour as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
Seymour is set to leave Italy after playing in the country since 2011. The 27 joined Genoa but has found opportunities limited. Last season he was on loan at Italian second division side Spezia.
The defensive midfielder would be a welcome addition to the Cruzeiro squad. The club look set to lose Lucas Silva and Nilton.
Cruzeiro were also interested in signing Paulinho but it seems as if the Tottenham player no longer wants to return to Brazil.
