Premier League side Everton are believed to be interested in Mariano from Bordeaux.
The 28 year old Brazilian full back is contracted at Bordeaux until 2016, but according to website Mercado365 Everton will make a bid in January.
Mariano moved to Bordeaux in early 2012 and has since been one of the most attacking full backs in France on a consistent basis. This suggests that Seamus Coleman might also be sold by Everton as Mariano would be a perfect replacement.
Despite being called up to the Brazilian squad in 2010, Mariano has yet to earn a cap for his country. A move to the Premier League would be his opportunity to catch Dunga’s eye.
