Juventus legend Claudio Gentile expects clubs around Europe to take an interest in Torino wing-back Bruno Peres.
The 24 year-old, who was signed from Santos for €2 million in September, has been one of the best imports into Serie A this season and cemented his growing reputation by scoring a wonder goal in Sunday’s Derby della Mole.
Speaking after that game – a 2-1 win for Juventus – Gentile noted how he impressed he was with Peres and is confident other clubs will be watching him.
“Quite aside from it being a fantastic goal, what was impressive was his speed and coolness,” he told Tuttomercatoweb. “I think he’s a quality player.
“Now he’ll have put himself on the radar of a lot of clubs, not just Italian ones and he has to prove it wasn’t a fluke.”
