He will not always unanimous on the side of Real Madrid but the left side, Marcelo, is still present in the merengue from now eight years. He reached midweek bar 282 games under the Madrid colors, making it the third foreign player with the most matches with Real Madrid, behind German, Stielike (303 games) and the iconic Roberto Carlos (500 games).
Appreciated by the Italian coach, Carlo Ancelotti, Marcelo could beat the record of German this season and the second place in this ranking behind his idol.

Marcelo might not always have been Madrid’s number one left-back, but he is making history at the club.

This week he played his 282nd game for the club of the Spanish capital, making him the third foreign player with the most matches at Real Madrid, behind German, Stielike (303 games) and the iconic Roberto Carlos (500 games).

Appreciated by the Italian coach, Carlo Ancelotti, Marcelo could beat the record of the German this season and get second spot behind his idol.
