Former Brazil international Leonardo has indicated that he will not return to the country of his birth in a working capacity any time in the near future.
The ex-AC Milan, PSG and Sao Paulo left-sided man told Brazilian SporTV that: “My life is somewhat now in Europe. I’m not planning on returning, it’s a matter of my life and I still have things to do there.”
“One day it might happen, I do not know when, I do not programme much. Today my life is very much there (Europe), I’m happy as hell.”
The 60-times capped Leonardo spent seven years of his club career in Europe and was until recently the sporting director of French champions PSG, but fell out with the club’s owners and subsequently left the Parisiens.
