USA midfielder Michael Bradley has warned anyone hoping to win the World Cup that hosts Brazil are a force to be reckoned with and will not bow out of the competition without dogged resistance.
Bradley, who will line up for Jurgen Klinsmann’s side in Group G of the tournament alongside Germany, Portugal and Ghana, told FourFourTwo: “I think anyone betting against Brazil- in their home country no less- could be in trouble.”
“I think they have agood team, and the enthusiasmthat they’ll have playing at home is going to be something that is going to be dificult to deal with.”
A 2013 Confederations Cup win on home soil, in which they swept aside the challenge of world champions Spain in the final by three goals to nil, has led many to believe that Brazil, although perhaps not the force they once were, can go all the way and deliver a sixth World Cup come July 13.
