Daniel Alves believes it will be “a disaster” if Barcelona don’t win the La Liga title this season.
The Blaugrana are currently in 2nd place, three points adrift of leaders Atlético Madrid.
Barcelona have, however, still to play Atlético and know if they win that tie and this weekend’s clash with Elche, they will be champions.
“If we don’t win the League then the season is a disaster,” insists Alves, as reported by Football Italia.
“A lot of opportunities have been given to us and we haven’t taken them. I have 100% trust in this team and I guarantee you we will not fail.”
Alves has been instrumental for Barcelona this season. The 31 year-old, who has been included in Brazil’s World Cup squad, has made 25 appearances, scoring two goals.
