Although his retirement is impending, Sao Paulo goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni could well stay at the club for many years to come after defender and teammate Rodrigo Caio siad that he thought Ceni could become the new president of Tricolor.

Caio, at 20 years old over half the age of the legendary stopper (41), told Lance: “We’re sad because he is a person who helps alot, a leader on and off the field.”

“I’m sure off the field he will continue to cheer for us, always present and continue to encourage. He is the face of Sao Paulo , is wise and had gained everything.”

Caio went on to describe Ceni as the perfect face if the club ever changed presidency and few would bet against it happening one day for a man that has played over 500 times for one team, and has won 16 Brazil caps.
