The 22-year-old prevented security guards from ushering the young boy off the field before picking him up and allowing him to join in celebrations with his team-mates.
Following Brazil’s 5-0 victory over South Africa at the Soccer City in Johannesburg, one young fan found the excitement of the game too much.
The young boy ran onto the pitch and had almost reached the Brazilian players when security guards stopped him and began to lead him off the pitch.
Brazilian star Neymar, however, saw the commotion and convinced the security guards to allow the youngster to enjoy a moment he’ll cherish forever.
Neymar picked up the boy and, along with his team-mates, hoisted him in to the air. The boy then spent several minutes posing for pictures.
