Chelsea and Brazil fulcrum Oscar has been speaking about the World Cup coming up this summer and talked about how he will become a father.

Oscar’s wife Ludmila announced that she is pregnant and due to have the baby the month before the World Cup starts.

The Chelsea midfielder has been talking about another famous Brazilian, Bebeto, who marked the birth of his child by doing the famous baby ‘cradle rocking’ celebration in the 1994 World Cup.

And speaking to Esporte Terra, Oscar admitted he might attempt something similar, even if that is a tournament he doesn’t remember too well considering he was only two-years-old.

Oscar said: “It may be so, because that was something that really marked the World Cup, and now it may be what happens to me.

“I remember much from the last time Brazil were champions, when Ronaldo scored twice in Germany.

“He was certainly the greatest striker and is one of the best I’ve seen play.”

Oscar will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Ronaldo and discussed his versatility for Luiz Felipe Scolari’s team.

He predicted that the family atmosphere installed by the Brazil manager can help them win this summers tournament.

“Scolari has come in to unite the team and we have grown with every game,” admitted Oscar.

“Feel free to throw me on the wings I played almost the whole of last year, also I can play holding, second striker… This is my quality.

“I bet the ace with be the Brazilian team, I hope all of us are superstars and can be champions.”
