A good friend of the 21-year-old, Daniel Alves does not agree with the release of details surrounding the Neymar’s contract.
The ‘Neymar case’ has already spelt the downfall of Barcelona president Sandro Rosell and the debate is showing no signs of abating.
In an interview with BarçaTV, Daniel Alves said that ‘to have to reveal your contract is disrespectful’ and that ‘such unsettling circumstances should be avoided’.
Leaving politics to one side, Alves spoke about the Spanish title race. Barcelona are currently level on points at the top of the league with Atlético Madrid, with rivals Real Madrid only two points behind.
“It’s a league that would be great to win. When you overcome difficult situations, victory is all the more sweet. It’s a three-way thing now,” he said.
