Russia manager Fabio Capello believes Clarence Seedorf has “everything it takes to do well” at Milan.

The veteran tactician, who visited Milanello earlier this week, worked with Seedorf as a player and insists the 37 year-old can be a successful head coach.

“It is always a lovely feeling to come back to Milanello and see the people you worked with in the past. It feels like coming home,” he said, as reported by Football Italia.

“I spoke to Seedorf yesterday and he invited me to the ground. When he was 20 years old, I took him away with me to Real Madrid.

“We’ve always had a good rapport and I was curious to see his training session. Clarence has a lot of experience and everything it takes to do well. He’s always had a great deal of character and that’s something you never lose, no matter what the role.”
