Flamengo has named Joel Santana as their fifth coach of the year and have fired Junior Baiano.
“It’s nothing personal,” Flamengo Director Kleber Leite told reporters as he announced the Junior Baiano decision.
Santana is Flamengo’s 5th coach of the season with relegation looking increasing likely this appears to be the last chance for Brazil’s biggest club.
They are currently 20th in the 22-team Brazilian championship with 34 points from 33 games and nine to play.
