Reports in Turkey have again suggested that Ronaldinho is close to a deal with Beşiktaş and newspaper Fotomaç believe the playmaker will travel to Istanbul over the next few days.

It was only recently that Ronaldinho’s brother and agent Roberto Assis said he would schedule a meeting with Atlético Mineiro president Alexandre Kalil for after January 3rd.

However if these current reports are to be believed it now seems the playmaker may depart Brazil and head to Turkey as has been suggested for a few weeks.

Fotomaç state that the World Cup winner will travel to Turkey and be shown around Beşiktaş in an attempt to reach an agreement over his transfer to the Süper Lig club.

This is all planned for the next week and another Turkish newspaper, Fantastik, reveal that Beşiktaş will offer Ronaldinho a €6 million deal, with €4 million paid by the club and the rest through sponsors.

Ronaldinho’s contract with Atlético Mineiro expired on December 31st so he is currently a free agent. Despite reports from Turkey and Brazil, it seems he will take his time before making a decision over his future.
