Chelsea midfielder Ramires has boldly declared his ambitions for the year ahead and believes he can win the Premier League, Champions League and World Cup.

The 26 year-old defensive midfielder spoke about his targets with espn.com.br, stating that he intends to “work with the same vigour and commitment and always give my best to make it happen.”

Having already won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2012, a campaign whereby Ramires scored a crucial goal to knock out perennial favourites Barcelona in the Semi-Final, his side are menacingly placed to challenge for a domestic title.

The Stamford Bridge side are winning matches with relative comfort at the moment, thanks in part to the Brazilian quartet of Ramires, David Luiz, Oscar and Willian. At the halfway stage of the Premier League, they sit only two points off leaders Arsenal, having lost once in their last ten games.

With 40 caps already to his name and a strong case for making the final cut when the World Cup comes around, Ramires’ perfect year might just be starting.
