Barcelona are considering leaving Neymar out of their pre-season friendly match in Poland, according to reports.

The 21-year-old was originally due to travel to Poland for tomorrow’s rearranged friendly with Lechia Gdansk, despite only returning to pre-season training with his new teammates today.

The Seleção star’s inclusion in plans was seen as Barcelona’s way of compensating the Polish outfit for cancelling this preseason friendly’s original date of July 20.

The game was called off because of Tito Vilanova’s sudden resignation the day before due to ill health.

There are contrasting reports, though, on whether or not Neymar will be named in the squad for tomorrow’s fixture, reports Football Espana.

Sport understand that today’s fitness tests have made Barca think twice about involving him, whilst Mundo Deportivo believe that he will be included for the trip out.

Should the €57 million be left out, it will be to continue preparation work in training, alongside his compatriot Dani Alves and the club’s Spanish internationals who have also just returned to training following their Confederations Cup participation.
